Hi there! My name is Charis Koehl, and I am the owner of White Birch Lane Boutique (Whitebirchlaneboutique.com). I am a mama bird to twin boys, and living in my hometown of Kendallville, Indiana. I love pizza, dogs, Vintage Mickey and Minnie, and I am a firm believer that with coffee and confidence you can do anything.

 

I launched our website in 2021 with a passion to create a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. What started out as a late-night pandemic idea has led me down a path of self-discovery. I had a strong desire to create a website where people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and budgets would find their dream outfit. I knew I wanted to create fashion, and home décor that were obtainable to everyone, because I believe your outfit strongly impacts how we feel. Everyone deserves to feel beautiful.  Our boutique is a celebration of comfortable, high-quality, unapologetic styles that have just enough.

yee-haw to be country, just enough raw to feel rock and roll, and just enough glitter to still feel like a princess. I hope White Birch Lane Boutique is a reminder that even while juggling wild kids + busy career + bustling household, you can surround yourself with inspiring things that are iconic, beautiful, and authentically you. 

 

Our name I hold close to my heart. I spent summers in Northern Michigan at my grandfather’s cottage. The drive to his cottage is lined with beautiful, lush birch trees. My grandfather and my children are my life’s inspiration, and where I get my drive to be a better human and my desire to make this world a better place.  Michigan will forever be my happy place and place where I find my peace in the middle of a storm.
